Powdered Alcohol Approved by Regulator

Palcohol, a powdered form of alcohol that can be mixed into drinks, has been approved by a federal regulator, NBC News reported Thursday. The company hopes to have four styles of Palcohol on sale this summer, according to a statement on the company's site. Palcohol would be sold in pouches; water could be added to create a version of an alcoholic drink. Several states, however, have already moved to ban powdered alcohol over concerns that minors could abuse it or snort the powder.
