Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conference Sunday with French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, to continue rolling out the next phase of the cease-fire. The measures include the withdrawal of heavy weapons, continued monitoring of the cease-fire, and launching a dialogue for holding local elections, according to a statement from the French president's office. The statement also said they determined that respect for the cease-fire has been largely satisfactory, despite some localized incidents.
