Giants' Wilson Rolls Into New Business Partnership

Become part owner of new SF bowling alley

Brian Wilson is getting into the business of bowling. The Giants closer is now a partner and part owner of the Lucky Strike Lanes thatโ€™s set to open in San Francisco. The bowling alley which also features a full 40-foot-long bar and plenty of food opens next Friday, March 9th. It will be a short walk from AT&T Park at King and 4th streets. San Francisco food blog Grub Street points out it will be just the second public bowling alley to open up within city limits.

In a press release Wilson expressed his excitement (likely in his trademark dry tone), โ€œI am pumped to be in the Lucky Strike mix and am honored that lane 12 will be renamed lane 38.  I love that number, and I expect to roll many massive strikes on that laneโ€.

The San Francisco location will be Lucky Strike's 20th in 11 states as well as Washington, D.C. and Canada. Itโ€™s first location opened in Hollywood back in 2004.
