A's Vs. Indians Lineups: Khris Davis Returns, Chris Bassitt Toes Rubber

Khris Davis returns to the lineup as the A's take aim at their fifth straight win Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Davis sat out Monday's series opener with left hip soreness stemming from his collision with the left field side wall in Pittsburgh more than two weeks ago. He will serve as Oakland's designated hitter and bat cleanup.

The A's Matts -- Chapman and Olson -- will hit second and third, respectively, with the hot-swinging Stephen Piscotty fifth and Jurickson Profar sixth. Chapman, Olson, and Profar all homered in Monday's contest, helping Oakland to a 6-4 victory.

Right-hander Chris Bassitt will take the hill for the A's in front of family and friends. Bassitt grew up in Genoa, Ohio, less than two hours from Cleveland. He has been impressive in his first five starts of the season, going 2-1 with a 1.93 ERA and 0.92 WHIP, recording 38 strikeouts in 32 2/3 innings.

The Indians counter with right-hander Trevor Bauer, who pitched well in Oakland earlier this month, allowing just two unearned runs in seven innings of work, with 10 strikeouts. For the season, Bauer is 4-2 with a 3.76 ERA and 1.16 WHIP.

Here are the full lineups for the A's-Indians game, which will be broadcast on NBC Sports California and the MyTeams app. Coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. PT, with first pitch at 3:10.
