Mayor Gavin Newsom has not gotten over his bout of Giants' fever yet.
That might be because the mayor is still enjoying the spoils of victory. Newsom made a bet with Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck before the start of the Giants World Series run.
The bet was that the losing mayor would deliver some of the best food his city had to offer and perhaps the best part, show up to a charity event in the winning team's town wearing the winning team's jersey.
Lucky for Newsom the Giants won because blue is not his color. Newsom might be in the market for a new jersey though, after eating the best BBQ Texas.
Now next week, the second part of Newsom's bet will come to life when Cluck shows up to San Francisco wearing a Giants jersey at a Junior Giants baseball clinic.
