MLB Trade Deadline Show for Giants and A's: How to Watch Online

The July 31 MLB trade deadline has been circled on all baseball fan's calendar for weeksnow. It's finally here.

The Giants and A's both expect to be very active as the 1:00 p.m. PT deadline approaches. The Giants are in a tricky spot, as their recent hot streak has sprung them from clear sellers to potential buyers. San Francisco has two of the deadline's biggest trade chips in Madison Bumgarner and reliever Will Smith, but president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi could elect to keep them both if the haul isn't substantial. NBC Sports Bay Area's Giants Insider Alex Pavlovic reported that the Giants likely will hold on to Bumgarner, but reported there is a fear that the team deals a reliever such as Smith, Tony Watson or Sam Dyson.

The A's, on the other hand, are clear buyers. A's VP of baseball operations Billy Beane has said he'll look to add impact players at the deadline, and he has already acquired two pitchers -- starter Homer Bailey and reliever Jake Diekman. Could he make another big splash? A's reporter Ben Ross has identified three potential pitching combos that could turn the A's into true World Series contenders.

Pavlovic and Ross will join experts from the NBC Sports regional networks to look ahead to the trade deadline in the MLB Trade Deadline Show, which will stream on the MyTeams app and here on NBCSportsBayArea.com. The show will air both at 10:00 a.m. PT and then again at 1:00 p.m, and you can join the conversation on Twitter using the hasting #MLBtradeNBC.
