Kings rookie Marvin Bagley III can jump out of the gym. He's freakishly athletic. That's part of what made the Kings take him with the No. 2 overall pick in this year's NBA Draft. He showed off his hops this summer with a monster dunk during the inaugural California Classic (see video above).
On Monday, Bagley dunked on a 10-time All-Star and future Hall of Famer. Sort of.
At Golden 1 Center to film ESPN's "Rookie Special," Bagley showed former Celtics star Paul Pierce some of his moves, and at one point, he ran the baseline and finished with a reverse dunk. Pierce, who finished playing in 2017, wanted nothing do with defending the 19-year-old Bagley.

"Marvin is a unique talent. Reminds me of Chris Bosh. He's got some Kevin Garnett in there," Pierce told the assembled media after the ESPN shoot.
"Rookie Special" debuts on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 4pm PT on ESPN2.
