LeBron: ‘Steph Should Be Getting $400M This Summer'

Stephen Curry and the Warriors agreed to the largest contract in NBA history Friday night.

Curry is set to sign a five-year, $201 million deal on July 6, yet LeBron James thinks the man who has beat him in two of the last three NBA Finals is getting underpaid.

LeBron took to Twitter Saturday and declared Curry should be signing for nearly twice his record contract. James tweeted, "So tell me again why there's a cap on how much a player should get?? Don't answer that. Steph should be getting 400M this summer 5yrs. #JMTs."

The tweet was in response to the fact that the Warriors were worth $450 million when Joe Lacob bought the team in 2010 and they are now worth $2.6 billion. Lacob bought the Warriors before Curry's second year in the NBA.

Since Lacob took over as CEO of the Warriors, Curry has won two MVP awards and led the team to two championships.
