Before the Giants take on the Diamondbacks in Arizona on Friday, they made a roster move.
Center fielder Steven Duggar was placed on the 10-day injured list with a lower back strain, retroactive to June 19.
To replace Duggar on the active roster, the Giants recalled 29-year-old outfielder Alex Dickerson from Triple-A Sacramento.

With Duggar out, expect Kevin Pillar to see a majority of the time in center field. Rookie Mike Yastrzemski has been playing well in the corner outfield spots.
