Giants Vs. Nationals Lineup: Dereck Rodriguez Gets Ball in Series Opener

After going 5-5 on their recent 10-game homestand, the Giants hit the road for a crucial trip.

The Giants enter Tuesday's series opener with the Washington Nationals at 7-10, 3 1/2 games back of the first place San Diego Padres.

Bruce Bochy will give the ball to right-hander Dereck Rodriguez on Tuesday, while the Nationals will send hard-throwing right-hander Stephen Strasburg to the bump.

The Giants' lineup will look similar to how it did against the Rockies, with Buster Posey hitting third and Brandon Belt batting cleanup and playing first base.
