Giants Vs. Rays Live Stream: How to Watch Saturday's MLB Game Online

The Giants' home opener on Friday didn't go the way the team wanted. They fell to the Rays, 5-2 in San Francisco thanks to six shutout innings from Tampa Bay starter Tyler Glasnow -- and a ton of offensive help to back him up.

The Rays are visiting the Giants for the first time since June 20, 2002, the longest current drought in MLB since one team last played at a specific opponent.

Ryne Stanek will take the bump for the Rays. This will be his third appearance for the team -- his second start. And he will face Jeff Samardzija who is 1-0 with a 2.35 ERA in three career appearances against the Rays.

Stanek may be used as an "opener" in Saturday's game in which lefty Ryan Yarbrough may quickly follow him in the setup. A situation Bruce Bochy is prepared for.

"We'll wait and see what they're going to do," Bochy told NBC Sports Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic. "Until we know, we'll be ready for different scenarios."
