The Golden State Warriors on Monday unveiled the team's first Chinese New Year uniforms.

The team will debut the new uniforms on Friday, Feb. 20, when they play the San Antonio Spurs at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

"We have been working with the NBA for two years now on our Chinese New Year uniforms to recognize the tremendous fan base that our Asian community represents," Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Welts said in a statement. "Connecting with our Asian community is a priority for our organization and we are proud that we are going to be one of two teams in the NBA to debut a Chinese New Year themed uniform as a way to thank our fans here in the Bay Area and abroad in China."

The Houston Rockets is the other NBA team to announce a Chinese New Year uniform. The Warriors and Rockets will be the first two NBA teams to debut a Chinese New Year uniform.

The new Warriors jersey is created by Adidas and will feature slate as its primary color, with red and yellow throughout the uniform.

The Warriors will also wear the new uniforms on the road this season on Tuesday, Feb. 24, against the Washington Wizards and on Monday, March 2, against the Brooklyn Nets.

The team will conclude the 2015 Chinese New Year by wearing the special uniforms for the final time this season on Wednesday, March 4, when the team holds an official Chinese New Year celebration at Oracle Arena during a game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
