ALAMEDA – Karl Joseph hasn't practiced with Raiders in some time. The Raiders first-round pick has been sidelined with a toe first injured against Buffalo, a long time gone for the young player.
He has done some side work. He did a bit last week and some more during an open period of Wednesday's practice. That's a sign he's inching closer to a return, though it's hard to imagine him ready for Sunday's game against Denver.
There's a possibility defensive tackle Stacy McGee could come back from a long absence. He had been out with an ankle injury, but is now limited with a groin strain from a practice last week where he was limited.
Left guard Kelechi Osemele did not participate with an ankle injury, but his absence likely has more to do with rest than anything else.
Receiver Michael Crabtree was limited with an ankle injury suffered against Indianapolis. He is expected to play through the ailment. Receiver Amari Cooper continues to be limited with a shoulder injury that he plays with.
Running back Jalen Richard should be fine after suffering a shoulder ailment.
Receiver Andre Holmes was also limited with a shoulder injury.
The Denver Broncos place edge rusher DeMarcus Ware and cornerback Kayvon Webster on season-ending injured reserve on Wednesday morning.
