LaVar Ball Doubles Down: ‘I Still Don't Think Steph Curry's Better Than My Son'

LaVar Ball isn't one to back down from anything he says.

Wednesday was no different.

Prior to the Warriors' game against the Lakers at the Staples Center, NBC Sports Bay Area's Kerith Burke caught up with Lonzo Ball's father.

The subject turned to the Lonzo vs. Steph Curry storyline.

"I trained my son. I know what he's about. You guys know what Steph is about from what you've seen. I don't know what Steph is about. He's a good player," LaVar said.

'He's a two-time MVP," Burke said.

"He can be a 10-time MVP. I still don't think he's better than my son," LaVar retorted.

Back in March, LaVar made headlines when he said this during a live UCLA game broadcast.

"I have the utmost confidence in what my boy is doing. He's better than Steph Curry to me. Put Steph Curry on UCLA's team right now and put my boy on Golden State and watch what happens," LaVar said.
