LeBron James and Giannis Antetekounmpo just made their picks for the All-Star Game.
These were LeBron's first three selections:
1) Kevin Durant
2) Kyrie Irving
3) Kawhi Leonard
Notice a pattern? Well, all three of those guys are slated to become unrestricted free agents in July and LeBron needs some help in LaLa Land. Recruiting season is clearly in full swing!
LeBron could have made it 4-for-4 with soon-to-be-free-agent Kemba Walker, but he went with James Harden for the final selection in his starting five.
Giannis did the world a favor by taking Milwaukee teammate Khris Middleton first among the reserves because this enabled LeBron to pick Anthony Davis.
TNT's Ernie Johnson immediately asked The King, "You sure you want him to be your teammate?"
Sports
"I'm very sure of that," LeBron answered.
"Isn't that tampering?" Giannis joked.
The Greek Freak for the win!
"Tampering rules do not apply at All-Star Weekend," LeBron joked.
Great stuff.

Giannis then took Nikola Jokic and LeBron chose Klay Thompson, who just happens to be slated to become a free agent in July and has hometown ties to Los Angeles.
Gee -- didn't see that one coming!
LeBron has long been fond of Klay, and there are rumors that if the Warriors don't offer him the max, he could leave for the Lakers.
But it appears Joe Lacob and company are going to give the five-time All-Star the most amount of dollars possible.
The draft was legitimately fun and it was a great decision by the NBA to put it on TV.
