The Grizzlies are in full rebuild mode and the Jazz are going for it.
Memphis traded point guard Mike Conley to Utah in exchange for guard Grayson Allen, forwards Jae Crowder and Kyle Korver, and two draft picks, according to multiple national reports.

Conley -- who averaged 21.1 points and 6.4 assists in 70 games last year -- will make about $32.5 million next season and has a $34.5 million player option in 2020-21.

A trio of Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert and Conley should be quite formidable in a wide open Western Conference.
The Jazz lost to the Warriors in the second round of the playoffs in 2017 and fell to Houston in the first round each of the last two seasons. They clearly needed to make a big move in order to take the next step in the postseason.
Korver -- who is owed about $3.44 million guaranteed -- will make $7.5 million next year if he is not waived by July 10.
If he is released or bought out, it will be interesting to see if the Warriors go after him. Golden State is in need of shooting and Korver is lethal from beyond the arc. But his 3-point percentage dipped to 38.4 last season -- his lowest mark since the 2007-08 campaign.

He will turn 39 years old in March.
Free agency is still 11 days away and things are already getting crazy in the NBA.
