Raiders Injury Report: Osemele Remains Out, Playing Status Uncertain

ALAMEDA – The Raiders got a bit healthier over the bye week. Only one player wasn't able to practice Wednesday when they started on-field work for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

It was an important one. Kelechi Osemele remains shelved with a knee injury, and his playing prospects for the Colts game are in question.

That hurts two spots. He's an excellent left guard, and someone who helps rookie left tackle Kolton Miller work on the outside.

Safety Karl Joseph returned to practice in a limited capacity after missing three straight games with a hamstring strain.

That could help facilitate a trade, if he's able to play against the Colts. The Raiders have reportedly been shopping their 2016 first-round draft pick in recent weeks, hoping to snag some draft capital for a player who was the No. 4 safety before getting hurt.

Also, quarterback Derek Carr was not on the participation report after suffering a left shoulder injury late in the Week 6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in London. The team wasn't concerned about it then and, as expected, he's a full go.

Receiver Seth Roberts has cleared at least part of the concussion protocol, and was limited on Wednesday.

Defensive end Frostee Rucker (neck) was a full participant after missing the Seahawks game.
