Really? Another injury? C’mon, man!

More disaster struck the Giants over the weekend.

It came in the form of second baseman Freddy Sanchez dislocating his right shoulder against the Cincinnati Reds, putting him on the DL. It's feared that Sanchez could miss the entire season as the Giants went out and inked veteran infielder Bill Hall to a contract.

Sanchez was tops among regulars on the Giants this season with a .289 average and was second in RBIs with 24 behind Aubrey Huff.

Sanchez has said he's going to try rehabbing his shoulder before reverting to surgery after initial reports had said he would need to go under the knife. Obviously, that would be a big thing for the Giants if he doesn't need the surgery considering the other injuries they've dealt with this season.

With Buster Posey out and Pablo Sandoval having missed over a month but set to return, the Giants could ill afford another big injury right now.

Now they will rely on Hall, who is a career .250 hitter with a little pop for a middle infielder, and we'll see what he can add to a suffering lineup.
