The San Jose Sharks have agreed to a 4-year contract with 26-year-old forward Ryane Clowe, according to ESPN.
The deal is reportedly worth more than $3.5 million per season.
Clowe, a restricted free agent, had been the subject of numerous trade rumors since the end of the NHL season.
Last year, Clowe notched 22 goals and 30 assists, both career highs, in 71 games. His 11 power play goals were tied for most on the team.
