Reports: Giants Agree to Terms With 2017 Top Pick Ramos, Two Others

Just eight days after the Giants took Heliot Ramos with the No. 19 pick in the first round of the 2017 MLB Draft, the two sides appear to have a deal.

The 17-year-old Puerto Rican outfielder has agreed to a slot deal $3,101,700, according to Baseball America.

The Giants reportedly agreed to terms with two other Top 10 picks on Tuesday.

Seth Corry, a left-handed pitcher from Lone Peak High School in Utah agreed to a $1,000,000 deal, according to Yahoo Sports. That amount is nearly $450,000 above the slot value for the No. 96 pick, according to the report.

The Giants and ninth-round pick Aaron Phillips have agreed to a below-slot deal, according to MLB.com. The right-handed pitcher from St. Bonaventure will get $80,000. The slot value for the No. 276 pick is $140,000.
