Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell: ‘I'm What Steph Curry Is to Basketball'

On Sunday against the Dolphins, Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell racked up 167 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries.

After the win, he made some bold comments.

"I think I'm changing the game," Bell told Bleacher Report. "In that sense, I'm what Steph Curry is to basketball. Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily think Steph Curry is the best basketball player, but he changed the game so he's going to always go down as being remembered.

"Now, everyone wants to shoot the three and shoot it from deep."

Bell was named First-Team All-Pro in 2014.

In 12 games this year (he was suspended the first four games), the 24-year old registered 1,268 yards and seven rushing touchdowns, plus 75 catches for 616 yards and two scores.

Warriors forward Draymond Green was classmates with Bell at Michigan State and the two are friends.

"That patience he has as a runner has never been seen before," Draymond told Bleacher Report. "You had Barry Sanders, who shook you out of your socks. Quick as grease. You had 'the Bus' and his power running. You have super-fast runners. But a runner with the patience he has? I mean, I don't know if we've ever seen that. He's a special runner who's definitely transcending the game and it's fun to watch.

"No one else in the NFL runs like that, but I guarantee you, there will be some runners coming out-and there's probably some in the NFL now-that'll try to take on that technique.

"To see him grow into the person he's growing into -- obviously he's made his mistakes, which we all do, but the way he's bounced back shows you a lot. Not everybody can bounce back from things the way he does. I'm looking forward to continuing to watch him grow and take the league by storm."
