Watch Donovan Mitchell Give Warriors Pick Eric Paschall Pump-up Speech

The Warriors selected Villanova forward Eric Paschall with the No. 41 overall pick in the NBA Draft.

The 22-year old grew up in the same neighborhood as Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell, and the two remain very close to this day.

On Saturday morning, Bleacher Report tweeted out the following video:

"Bro, you worked your a-- off to get here," Mitchell said to Paschall at what looks like a draft party. "Don't let 41 get in your head, bro. I'm telling you, don't let that sh-- get in your head, bro. Real sh--. All right.

"You are one in 450 dudes in this world [who are in the NBA] -- 450 bro. Now look, I'm gonna have to beat your a-- four times a year..."

Well actually, Donovan, the Warriors and Jazz only played three times last regular season and the Dubs won two of the matchups.

(Sorry, but I had to be "that guy" just for the sake of this article).

Mitchell recently explained to Trysta Krick of USA Today Sports why Paschall is one of the biggest sleepers in the draft:

"I'm biased, but I'm gonna say it because he was my best friend growing up -- Eric Paschall. He brings so much to a team that's ready to compete now.

"He's a defender, he's athletic, he can shoot and he's strong. He wasn't like that when we were younger. He was always the lanky one so I always give him a lot of [flak] for that."

Paschall had a fantastic senior season at Villanova, averaging 16.5 points and 6.1 rebounds, while shooting 35 percent from beyond the arc.

He won a national title with the Wildcats in 2018, and racked up 24 points (10-for-11 from the field) against Kansas in the Final Four.

Paschall -- along with fellow Golden State draft picks Jordan Poole and Alen Smailagic -- will be introduced to the local media on Monday at 12 p.m. PT.
