According to a new rumor, Howard Stern is set to sign a contract with Apple worth $600 million over three years, all to host an internet/TV/iTunes show. Hoo eee.
On the one hand, this makes a decent amount of sense. Stern went to satellite radio early, giving it an air of legitimacy. He could do the same for online broadcasts.
On the other hand, $600 million over 3 years is absurd. Apple has a lot of money, sure, but that is a pretty insane amount to spend on one guy's show.
In any case, we'll see, right?
