Hercules Says No to Bounce Houses in Public Parks

Keep your bounce house at home, please.

Party all you want with a bounce house.

Just do it at your own house.

Worries over lawsuits, injuries and liability led Hercules to ban bounce houses -- the giant inflatable party places -- from city parks, according to the Contra Costa Times.

From 2004 to 2008, the city offered permits for bounce houses but gave it up after it realized it had no insurance.

That's no safe bouncing.

The city is thus far unsure how it will enforce the new law.
