The celebration in San Francisco's streets following the Giants' World Series victory started off peaceful but quickly turned raucous and violent, as revelers vandalized police cars and businesses and pelted officers with bottles. Mark Matthews reports. (Published Thursday, Oct 30, 2014)

The trailer for Mark Wahlberg's new action thriller is here, and, well, it ain't "The Fighter."

"Contraband," a remake of the Icelandic thriller "Reykjavík-Rotterdam," stars Wahlberg as an ex-smuggler gone straight who gets pulled back into the game when his brother-in-law mucks up a drop and finds himself in the mob's cross-hairs.

It all looks fairly generic, but the cast is great--Kate Beckinsale (with blonde hair she looks exactly like Monica Potter, no?), Ben Foster, Giovanni Ribisi, Lukas Haas, Caleb Landry Jones, Diego Luna and J.K. Simmons--and it's directed by Baltasar Kormákur, who starred in the original film.

    "Contraband" opens Jan. 13, 2012.
