Apple's iPad Goes International

Looking for an iPad 2? You might want to fly to Australia or New Zealand to get one.

But you better hurry. Apple officially began selling the latest version of its popular tablet computer overseas, while a shortage at home has Steve Jobs pulling from his zen years and asking customers to be patient.

Apple began selling the iPad 2 in Australia, New Zealand, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Germany Friday.

In Australia and New Zealand on Friday there were hoards of people waiting to get their hands on the tablet before Apple stores even opened.

Hong Kong and Singapore will get the iPad 2 next month along with several other countries.
