Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg Shares So You Will

Cynical critics are saying that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is sharing even more about his life because he's trying to get his users to also share their information with Facebook Home. Facebook Home, a skin for an Android phone that gleans way more information from users than the typical Facebook app, debuted last week and Zuckerberg wants it to succeed.

The Facebook chief has been giving interviews lately where he talks about how he volunteers at a middle school teaching business, his New Year's resolution to meet a new person a day and that that he's working on "exposure."

"It's going well--I've done a bunch of things in the community and just tried to get broader exposure," he told Fortune.

No less than three articles seemed to point out these facts, attributing it to the launch of Facebook Home, which will garner far more information on users for advertisers. But is he sharing so much so that users will follow suit? We think that seems a bit Machiavellian. Zuckerberg is likely just in the news because he's promoting Facebook and its new incarnation for Android phones.
