A new event called Oakland Music Festival is coming to the Jack London District at noon on Sept. 21.
Oakland's own The Coup headlines the eight-hour concert of hip-hop, electronic, and soul artists.
OMF is also set to feature performances by Latin Soul Brothers, New Diplomat, J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science, Vokab Kompany, Bang Data, James & Evander, and Trackademicks & the HNRL.
Local DJ crews from Sweater Funk and 45 Sessions will man the turntables, and an array of food and beer vendors are being finalized.
Tickets for the event range from $20 (early bird) to $70 (VIP admission).
