Train Sets America's Cup Pavilion Date

Band also releasing Soul Sister Pinot Noir

San Francisco's own Train has been named as the second act to perform at the temporary America's Cup Pavilion this summer. The show takes place on Aug. 11, but tickets go on sale on March 15 via Live Nation.

The America's Cup Pavilion holds 9,000 fans, up from the proposed 4,000 fans the venue initially intended to have. The size was increased in order to woo Sting to perform, which he will do on June 2.

Train is still busy working on creative marketing endeavors. Last year, the band partnered with Ghirardelli to make its own line of chocolate bars. And Train's latest wine varietal, Soul Sister Pinot Noir, debuts this month.
