CYCLES ON SCREEN: As one might imagine, the Bicycle Film Festival gets around. If you have "bicycle" in your name, you can't be expected to not be hither and thither. And the next thither on the traveling cineparty's list? Sacramento. The three-day to-do is putting on the brakes in the capital, the better to show bike-oriented shorts and host a trick competition and throw down some tunes and do a bit of socializing at spots like the Crocker Art Museum. (Note that Fremont Park is the center of much of the action, though.)
DATES AND SUCH: Everything's on for Thursday, May 12 through Saturday, May 14, but note that the trick competition and music in the park will be happening on Saturday. There are parties and film programs each day of the festival, note. Also, dates are up for the autumn fest in San Francisco.
