Former actor and TV host Gary Collins paid a $500 fine in Mississippi for leaving the scene of an accident last month.

Collins, 72, who starred in the 1970s series "The Sixth Sense" and went on to host "Hour Magazine a decade later, was cited for the misdemeanor Nov. 2 after his Jeep rear-ended a car at a stoplight in Jackson. Police say he exchanged information with the other driver but left before authorities arrived. Police later went to his house and gave him the ticket.

Collins is married to former Miss America Mary Ann Mobley. Collins has pleaded no contest to driving under the influence of alcohol twice since 2007.
