The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star shot down rumors that he and the 22-year-old daughter of his ex's tummy tuck surgeon had split for good after a whirlwind four-month relationship.
"I feel like I love her more than I did Kate," he told ABC's "Primetime: Family Secrets" earlier this week. "I get encouragement from her, I get respect from [her]. Two things that a man needs. This is someone, I mean, like soul mate --like people joke about hat. But I'm not joking about that."
The couple reportedly first became close when Jon crashed at Hailey's parents house in New York City after he split with wife Kate in May. The couple announced their impending divorce in June.
Gosselin, 32, and his gal pal's budding romance then began to unfold in the unforgiving glare of the media spotlight.
The pair was photographed holding hands in the French Riviera and in New York City earlier this summer and was scrutinized in public.
"I'm not some fame whore," Glassman told E! in last month. "Take my 15 minutes, you can have it back. Please take it back."
Gosselin ripped into Kate earlier this week for being verbally abusive and vowed never to return to the lifestyle where he was left to stay at home with his eight children and she was working various jobs. Since the split, Kate has been a vocal critic of Jon's behavior.
"I despise [her] because she's not speaking from the heart," Jon told ABC.
