Tom Cruise won't be gleefully jumping on any couches when he hears this news.
The "Mission: Impossible" actor and notorious Oprah couch-jumper is being hauled into court for allegedly spying and illegally wiretapping a man who claims to have video proving a "homosexual relationship" with Cruise, TMZ reported Monday.
Cruise sued Sapir nearly ten years ago when he came forward with the alleged video evidence, a lawsuit that settled last year when both Cruise and Sapir signed a statement saying the tape didn't exist.
According to Sapir, Pellicano wiretapped his phone line during court proceedings, and Cruise and Fields were part of the plan.
"The allegations are absolute garbage. We did not even hire Pellicano to work on the Sapir case," Fields told TMZ Monday.
Sapir is a magazine editor in California.
