Despite recent accounts of their disagreements, Lindsay Lohan and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson were of one mind when it came to the subject of abuse allegations. The former couple took to their respective Twitter accounts and fired back at a report claiming the 23-year-old actress accused Ronson of physical abuse.
“This is become a bit much,” Lohan tweeted. “*Samantha R never raised a hand to me, I've never said she did* Enough is Enough. Focus on other more important.... World Issues.”
Lohan’s statement prompted Ronson, who had remained silent when the story first broke, to respond to her former flame directly. The DJ also had a stern warning for those continuing to spread the abuse allegations.
“Thank you for clearing that up,” Ronson wrote. “The high road was giving me a nose bleed! … To ANYONE who perpetuates this rumor accusing me of being violently abusive after (Lindsay) has denied it: I WILL take legal action.”
Lady Gaga a go-go?
With millions in record sales, two Grammy awards and a sold-out U.S. tour behind her, Lady Gaga’s fame isn’t likely to fade soon. Still, if the performer finds herself in need of a job, she could to reach back to her go-go roots.
“I still miss all my go-go dancing — maybe I’ll go back to it one day,” Gaga said in a quote published on ShowbizSpy.com. “I used to love dancing to Black Sabbath. Maybe it will eventually go back to how things were. I forget that I’m famous all the time.”
According to the “Telephone” singer, it’s easy to forget about the paparazzi presence and the other trappings of her high-profile lifestyle as long as she leaves the eye-popping Gaga garb behind.
“Nothing has really changed,” the 23-year-old said. “Sometimes when I go out without all the Gaga stuff no one recognizes me and I feel like I’m back where I was before all of this.”
Dish on the fly
The simple act of staying hydrated now poses a problem for actor Bruce Willis. In an interview with Men’s Journal magazine, the “Sin City” star admitted he fears frequent bathroom breaks could fuel drug rumors. “I drink far more water than I drink alcohol anymore,” Willis explained. “Whenever I'm in the company of someone who used to do this drug that makes you run off to the bathroom to do it, I'm reminded of how often I get up to pee now. I go, 'Oh, my God, I wonder if somebody thinks I'm doing blow in there'.” … Eight years of marriage has done nothing to dull Pierce Brosnan’s passion for wife Keely Shaye Smith. “I'm in love like it was the first day,” Brosnan told Germany’s Frau im Spiegel in an excerpt published in Hello! Magazine. “We complement one another. Keely is very good at what she does — as a mother, friend and partner. I know exactly when I have to say, 'Yes, darling!' We go together through thick and thin and — God willing — we will do that until the end of our lives.” Guys looking to crib a few good lines for their Valentine’s Day cards, take note!
