Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley Join Fans in Remembering Elvis

Music icon's former wife and daughter are among the tens of thousands at candlelight vigil held at Graceland.

While today marks 35 years since his death, Elvis Presley continues to be remembered.

And no place was that more evident than at his Graceland home on Wednesday night when tens of thousands gathered there for a candlelight vigil to celebrate the music icon.

Among those attending? None other than the King's former wife, Priscilla, and their daughter, Lisa Marie. It marked the first time the two have appeared together at the annual event in Memphis.

Is Alex Pettyfer really engaged to Elvis' granddaughter?

"I'm always really happy when I'm here," Lisa Marie told Natalie Morales on Thursday's Today while chatting inside the house. "It always reminds me of when I was the happiest, I think, in my life. It always just brings me back there when I come back."

"This was so much a part of him, this home. He loved this home," added Priscilla, who sat alongside her daughter. "He always came back here no matter what. His presence is just all around, going into each room."

Presley was only 42 when he passed away at Graceland on Aug. 16, 1977.
