Olympic athletes have a history of winning "Dancing with the Stars" – and past champ and America's most decorated Winter Olympian, Apolo Anton Ohno, told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush that Season 10 would likely be no different.
"I think he's just going to rock it," the speed skater said of ice skating gold medalist Evan Lysacek, a contestant on the new season. "I think he's going to do very well… We all saw how well Kristi Yamaguchi did. Shawn Johnson. A number of athletes, almost everybody's made the final."
As for the impact the show made on Apolo, who won the competition in Season 4 with partner Julianne Hough, he told Billy that he still uses his "Dancing" moves.
"The show helped my dancing skills quite a bit, so I have a little more confidence if I go out," he told Billy.
And with the Olympics over, Apolo added that he finally has time to socialize – and even date.
"I'm enjoying life," he said. "The social scene is something that I've had to kind of just pocket away for a long time…. If I have time, I'd love to [go on a date]."
