Bristol Palin Getting a Reality Show

Will this be considered a "Sarah Palin's Alaska" spin-off?

Abstinence activist and unwed mother Bristol is getting her own reality series on Bio, according to an official network press release.

The series, which will consist of ten episodes to start with, will follow Palin and her son, Tripp, as they move to Los Angeles to live with "That's So Raven" actor Kyle Massey. Palin and Massey become close during "Dancing with the Stars."

Kyle's brother, "Zoey 101" star Christopher Massey, will also be featured.

"Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to," says Dave McKillop, BIO's executive vice president of programming, in the release. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she's opening up her real life, with her son and her friends the Massey Brothers."

Palin will be working at "a small charity" during the ten episodes. There is no word on whether or not Bio plans to continue the series beyond the initial episodes. The series is scheduled to air later this year, but no exact date has been given.
