At least five workers were hurt after falling from a Southern California casino Saturday, officials said.

The fall happened just before 3:20 p.m. at the Commerce Casino in the 6100 block of Telegraph Road in Commerce, LA County Fire officials said.

The five construction workers were painting when a scaffolding they were on fell about 20 feet, officials said.

It was not clear whether the workers were employed by the casino or an outside company. They were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
