Redwood City police are looking for a man who pulled up alongside a 13-year-old boy near his school Monday and tried to entice him into his truck.

Police said he also asked the boy if he wanted some marijuana in front of John F. Kennedy Middle School. The boy said no and ran straight to the main office where he told staff what had just happened.

No one is in custody, but the boy described the suspect: A unshaven man, about 30, with a scar that runs through the middle of his eyes.
