City Hall Fought: Vandal ‘Under the Influence' Smashes SF City Hall Windows

Turns out you can fight City Hall -- and it'll even take some damage before you're hauled away.

A man "under the influence" of something, according to sheriff's deputies, used fists and weapons to break out nine windows at San Francisco's City Hall, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

James Weaver, 34, allegedly smashed the building's door windows out with his fists and the blunt end of a knife handle around 4:30 a.m. He was arrested and booked on nine felony counts.

City Hall was not closed following the incident, though visitors will asked to use alternate entrances following Weaver's outburst towards the front door.

It's not yet clear what was inside the man's system, according to authorities.
