East Palo Alto police are searching for the person who shot and robbed a man responding a craigslist ad.

It happened Wednesday evening at a parking lot on cooley avenue, near the University Avenue exit on Highway 101.

Police say the Stockton man went to the parking lot to buy a car that was listed on the craigslist Web site. Instead, the man was robbed at gunpoint and shot.

Another man was also shot. Police believe he was a bystander hit by stray bullets.

Both men are expected to be OK.
