Dancing Veteran At Annual San Jose Parade

Since 1919, the city of San Jose has hosted an annual Veterans Day parade, and this year is no exception.

Sponsored by the United Veterans Council of Santa Clara County, the ceremony is billed as "one of the largest in Northern California." The event is a long and cherished one, as evidenced by this veteran seen dancing in the streets at last year's parade.

The opening ceremony begins at Plaza de Cesar Chavez on Market Street in honor of the 1918 Armistice of the "War to End All Wars." The parade kicks off at noon from Delmas Street near the SAP Center from Santa Clara to Market Street, passing by the Tech Museum, and ending at San Carlos Street.
