Family of Girl Killed in Milpitas Crash Seeking Answers

The family of a 14-year-old girl found dead outside a crashed car in Milpitas last week is asking for help figuring out how she died.

The body of Cynthia Ramirez Becerra, a San Jose resident, was found next to a wrecked car, a silver two-door 1997 Cadillac.

The girl's brother, Miguel Ramirez, wants anyone who knows anything to come forward to give the family some closure.

β€œWe feel really hurt and angry because we don’t got no answers,” Ramirez said. β€œWe understand that tragedies happen, even if it’s our loved ones, but we would feel better if we had answers to our questions.”

Alex Alcazar is the registered owner of the car. Police say he is a person of interest, but so far, they have not been able to track him down.

Milpitas police continue to follow leads on what happened during and after the crash, including why the teenager, who was too young to hold a driver's license, was the only person found lying near the vehicle.
