A crash between two high profile vehicles ended in the death of a woman on bicycle Thursday morning.
San Jose police said a large delivery truck was traveling down Auzerais Avenue when it collided with a dump truck that was traveling down Lincoln Avenue.
The crash at the intersection of Auzerais and Lincoln caused the delivery truck to flip over landing on a bicyclist who was crossing the street on the west side of Lincoln Avenue, police said.
The cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The unidentified woman may have been walking her bike at the time.
The drivers of the two trucks were not hurt.
Police said they were cooperating with investigators. Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision, according to police.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
