Silicon Valley-area partiers will be able to get themselves a free ride home -- either from the AAA or aboard a Valley Transportation Authority or Caltrain, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
For people who drive, then drink -- and then decide, wisely, to not drive again -- AAA will tow you and your car home free of charge with the Tipsy Tow program. Call 800-222-4357 and tell the operator, "I need a Tipsy Tow." Then, you'll get one.
It is better than the $12,000 a first-time DUI offense could cost you, the newspaper reported.
If you've without a car, you can take a free VTA bus or train until 3:49 a.m. Thursday. Caltrain will also ferry you around free of charge after 11 p.m.
