Home Depot may be the latest victim of a giant credit card hack.
The retail and home improvement giant admitted Tuesday morning that it's looking into a possible breach, first noticed by banks.
From the company: "Protecting our customers' information is something we take extremely seriously, and we are aggressively gathering facts at this point while working to protect customers."
Thoughts instantly turn to the credit card breach that hit Target stores early this year, affecting as many as 100 million customers. In this case, it's not yet known which credit cards may have been compromised, or what specific data might have been taken.
