Indecent Exposure Incidents Reported on UC Berkeley Campus

UC Berkeley police are warning students after a pair of indecent exposure incidents on campus.

Early Wednesday morning, just before 1 a.m., a 19-year-old female student living in the dorms says she came out of a bathroom stall and a man was in the room exposing himself.

On Monday night, a 22-year-old female student was studying in the Academic Service Center of the Unit-2 Housing Complex when she says she saw a man watching her through a window with his pants down.

Campus police were immediately notified in both cases but were unable to find the suspect in either instance.

Police are not sure if the two incidents are related.

The suspect in the Monday incident is described by police as approximately 20 years old, thin build, dark hair, and wearing a white t-shirt and green pants.

Wednesday’s suspect is described as a white male, between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately 5’8”, heavy build, and wearing a t-shirt and light colored pants.

Anyone with information that might help police is asked to contact the University of California Police Department Criminal Investigation Bureau.
