A global effort is underway to promote Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara as a venue for soccer as well as football, wrestling, concerts and other crowd-drawing spectacles.
Come for the football -- stay for the futbol.
The San Francisco 49ers' new home, the $1.3 billion Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, could soon become a top venue for the world's best soccer players, according to reports.
The Business Times tells us of a contract signed this week between the Niners and the San Jose Earthquakes to promote the home of the 49ers for the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Wrestle Mania is already on its way, after all.

So, "new outbound sales efforts" are underway to make sure that the draw is known.
