Ferry crews rescue a man from a sailboat Saturday afternoon.

A man was rescued from a sailboat Saturday afternoon after he fell over into San Francisco Bay.

It was all caught on tape by people on the ferry.

Coast Guard officers received a mayday call from a man on board the sailboat before he fell into the water. While in the water, he held on to the boat.

The ferry crew happened to be closer and helped him to safety.

Paramedics took him to a hospital to be checked out.

Officials said he is fine .

His boat was towed to Treasure Island.
