Moraga residents frustrated over rowdy parties thrown by St. Mary's College students are asking town leaders for increased regulations against party houses.
Town Manager Jill Keimach said Moraga appreciates the relationship it has with St. Mary's and wants students to spend dollars and enjoy the area. But Keimach added the town wants neighbors to enjoy peace and quiet.
"The council is struggling right now on what is that balance," Keimach said.
Moraga passed a part ordinance several years ago to address the issue. The ordinance, however, has loop holes the council is looking to close.
The council is scheduled to discuss the issue next month.
